How to make an adjustment to your base shop points on a production entry.
To change the base shop points total you can make an adjustment to an entry by clicking the arrows icon here on the production tracker page: When you click the adjustment icon, you will be presented with a popup: As an example, if your base shop points are short by 500 points on this entry, then enter 500 and put a reason for the adjustment (for your future reference, just in case you forget). If your base is being given too many points, then you can enter a negative number like -500.
How do I use the "Pending Submission" in Production
The "pending submit" toggle is for applications that will not pay out with an advance of points and commissions. For example: A trial application or a rollover/annuity that will not be paid commissions immediately. These commissions take several weeks and sometimes longer, we want follow up on them but not count the points just yet. So you can think of the button as "pending commission payout". Best practice would be to NOT add production that has not been signed for or turned into the life insurance/ annuity company. Production page should be for "written/turned in business" only.
