Gemini CLI, Google's AI assistant for the terminal, can use BSCpro through the BSCpro MCP server.
Before you start
- A paid, active BSCpro subscription.
- The BSCpro MCP server address:
https://bscpro.com/mcp
Add BSCpro
-
Open your Gemini CLI settings file,
~/.gemini/settings.json. Create it if it doesn't exist. -
Add BSCpro under
mcpServers:{ "mcpServers": { "bscpro": { "httpUrl": "https://bscpro.com/mcp" } } }If the file already has other settings, add the
mcpServersentry next to them. -
Start Gemini CLI and type
/mcp auth bscpro. Your browser opens BSCpro. This needs a browser on the same computer. -
When BSCpro opens in your browser, sign in if asked. BSCpro then shows the app's name, the account you're signed in as and a list of permissions. Tick only what you want the app to do, then click Allow. If you didn't start connecting this app yourself, click Deny.
Type /mcp to check that BSCpro is connected and see its tools.
With an access token instead
On a computer without a browser, create an access token in BSCpro (Profile › Integrations › API access tokens) and add it as a header:
{ "mcpServers": { "bscpro": { "httpUrl": "https://bscpro.com/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_TOKEN" } } } }
Disconnect
Remove the server in the app, and disconnect it in BSCpro under Profile › Integrations › Connected AI apps. Changing your BSCpro password disconnects every app.
For what a connected app can and can't do, using an access token instead, and troubleshooting, see Connect AI apps and your own scripts to BSCpro.
