GitHub Copilot chat in Visual Studio Code can use BSCpro through the BSCpro MCP server.

Before you start

  • A paid, active BSCpro subscription.

  • The BSCpro MCP server address: https://bscpro.com/mcp

  • A GitHub Copilot subscription and a recent version of VS Code.

Add BSCpro

  1. Open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P, or Cmd+Shift+P on a Mac) and run MCP: Add Server.
  2. Choose HTTP (HTTP or Server-Sent Events).
  3. Enter the URL https://bscpro.com/mcp.
  4. Enter the server ID bscpro.
  5. Choose Global to use it in every workspace.
  6. VS Code asks you to trust the server and sign in. Allow it, and your browser opens BSCpro.
  7. When BSCpro opens in your browser, sign in if asked. BSCpro then shows the app's name, the account you're signed in as and a list of permissions. Tick only what you want the app to do, then click Allow. If you didn't start connecting this app yourself, click Deny.

Use it in a chat

Open Copilot chat and switch to Agent mode. BSCpro's tools only appear in Agent mode. Copilot asks before it runs a tool that changes BSCpro data.

Menus move: These steps match the app at the time of writing. If a menu has moved, look for the app's connector or MCP settings.

Disconnect

Remove the server in the app, and disconnect it in BSCpro under Profile › Integrations › Connected AI apps. Changing your BSCpro password disconnects every app.

For what a connected app can and can't do, using an access token instead, and troubleshooting, see Connect AI apps and your own scripts to BSCpro.
